I still find that true now with" Capital Notes." Myers uses original reporting using his first hand experience of working at the Capital and covering state politics. He includes some witty opinion but mostly provides unbiased reporting to allow the readers to gain further knowledge on the subject and make their own decisions. He does summarize and break down complicated issues to make them easier to understand however. Many issues that pass through the Capital can be either really boring, or difficult to understand and Myers does a good job at making it easy for the general public to follow. Readers of his blog don't have to be political junkies to understand what he is reporting.
The latest post on the blog, "When All Was Said and Done," was about the recent water issues that California was facing. It includes more of Myers' witty opinion mixed with the facts of what happened. He does a good job at making the story interesting and informative.
